Hand Controls
Mobility Knob Grip Straight Handle
This hand control has a knob grip that fits comfortably in ther palm of the driver’s hand. The knob grip and bent rod are standard on this unit, which allows for higher mounting positions. This means more convenience and comfort for the driver. It can be equipped with a foam handle, horn and/or dimmer switches.
Mobility Knob Grip Offset Handle
This hand control has all the features of the straight handle above, but is fully adjustable 360 degrees to provide additional knee clearance and more leverage. This handle can also be used to adjust the angle or pitch of grips equipped with wrist supports.
Mobility Tri-Pin Wheel Grip
Your hand and wrist are comfortable and secure in this lightweight foam tri-pin grip. The full 360 degree rotation allows the driver to maintain constant with the steering wheel while turning. It is fully adjustable for your individual comfort, and the foam covers are soft, washable and replaceable. This grip is easily detachable for transfer to another vehicle or to allow ambulatory drivers to use the steering wheel.
DriveMaster Hand Controls
his push-pull hand control from DriveMaster is made from quality components and has a sleek, European-style black anodized finish. It is lightweight and corrosion resistant, and can be mounted on either side of the steering column. All moving parts are bearing constructed, and it meets or exceeds all Federal standards for safety and use. Can optionally be fitted with alternate custom quad padded handles.
Assistive Devices
Mobility Accelerator & Brake Guard
This Accelerator and Brake guard from Mobility is designed to prevent accidental use of the floor pedals when the vehicle is equipped with hand controls. It provides a solid foot rest for the driver, and with the quick release mechanism the vehicle can be used by ambulatory drivers. If you only need the accelerator pedal blocked, there is a smaller model available.
Mobility Accelerator Guard
This Accelerator guard from Mobility is designed to prevent accidental use of the accelerator pedal when the vehicle is equipped with hand controls. It provides a solid foot rest for the driver, and with the quick release mechanism the vehicle can be used by ambulatory drivers. The brake pedal is still accessable in all situations.
Mobility Counter Balance
This counter-balance can be used with the Tri-Pin steering grip to help turn the wheel easier, reducing fatigue and increasing driver comfort. Especially useful when the steering system has been heavily modified. Can be easily removed without tools for normal operations of the steering wheel.
Mobility Key Extension
This key extender provides additional leverage when staring your vehicle. It has a powder-covered disc that allows installation of most keys that incorporate computer chips. The extension is fully adjustable and may be locked in position. It can accomodate two keys and a strap, if desired, and can be used anywhere a key is needed – home, office or other wise.
Mobility Handle & Wrist Support
This steering control control offers a foam grip handle with a soft foam wrist support and side guard for additional leverage. Both grips are soft, washable, replaceable and are not heat sensitive . An optional offset handle may be added with the wrist support grip to provide additional knee clearance and more leverage.
Mobility Foam Grip Handle
This offset handle grip was designed two inches longer than most hand controls for added comfort and leverage. It can be used either as an accelerator or brake extension, and can be mounted on either side of the steering column.
EZ Lock Wheelchair Clamps
The EZ-Lock wheelchair restraint system is the leader in crash-tested systems, providing the most safety you can get with the simplicity of installation and use . By installing a locking pin on the underside of your wheelchair, you can easily roll yourself into position in your vehicle. Once in place, an audible click and indicator light will inform you that you are locked in place. But with the touch of a release button, you can roll back and be on your way again. Because of it’s small size and low profile, it can be mount in virtually any vehicle that allows roll-on wheelchairs.
Pedal Extensions
Mobility Left Foot Accelerator
This removable left-foot gas pedal from Mobility allows quick conversion of most cars and vans to left-side acceleration. It has a built-in right-foot pedal block, and has a quick-release mechanism. This makes it easily removable for use by more ambulatory drivers.
Mobility Push/Pull Control
This Tri-grip center-console mounted control allows driving of a mini-van with a simple push/pull movement. Pushing forward is for acceleration, and pulling back activates braking. It can also be custom fitted for turn signals, horn or dimmer switch operation.
DriveMaster Fold Down Pedal Extension
DriveMaster’s gas and brake pedal extensions adjust to allow 6 to 12 inches of extended reach. Made from durable light-weight aluminum and stainless steel, these extensions provide immediate comfort and function after installation. Best of all, they fold down out of the way in seconds to resume normal operation of the vehicle by other persons. Fits most American cars and vans.
DriveMaster Left Foot Gas Pedal
This removable left-foot gas pedal allows quick conversion of most cars and vans to left-side acceleration. It has a built-in right-foot pedal block, and comes with an independent spring return. A twist of a few bolts and the pedal block swings free to resume standard vehicle operation when you need it.
DriveMaster Pedal Extensions
These simple and affordable clamp-on extensions will make accelerator and brake pedals more accessible to those with limited leg range movement. Mounting is semi-permanent via bolts and clamps. There are four basic models that add 1, 2, 3 or 4 inches to the pedal height. Fits most standard pedals in any vehicle.
